Modera Goose Hollow is an apartment community comprising 134 homes. The site is located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood, in the west end of Portland. Goose Hollow is one of Portland's oldest neighborhoods, steps from downtown and beloved for its quirky character, historic homes, walkability (residents will enjoy a WalkScore® of 85), and spectacular views. 

The Goose Hollow neighborhood acquired its distinctive name through early residents’ practice of letting their geese run free throughout the wooded hollow in the Tualatin Mountains. It is adjacent to Downtown Portland, the Pearl District, the West Hills neighborhood, and Washington Park.

Today, Goose Hollow remains one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city. Its attractiveness as a place to live has much to do with its pedestrian environment, as its connectivity through public transit and multiple points of freeway access. The MAX Light Rail system travels through the neighborhood, stopping at Jeld-Wen Field, Kings Hill/SW Salmon and the Goose Hollow/SW Jefferson Street station, located directly in front of our community. Goose Hollow is also served by two major freeways: Interstate 405 and Highway 26.

Goose Hollow is host to a number of community and regional institutions, including Lincoln High School (oldest in the Pacific Northwest), Multnomah Athletic Club, and Jeld-Wen Field (home of the Portland Timbers professional soccer team). Goose Hollow has every housing type, including multi-family apartment communities, condos, townhomes, and detached single-family homes (many of which are historic). Some apartment buildings have been converted to condos and a few new condos were built in the 2000s. Over 80% of Goose Hollow residents live in apartments and this number is increasing.  The Goose Hollow neighborhood provides housing for many Portland State University students.  Portland State is just across the I-405 freeway from Modera Goose Hollow.

Modera Goose Hollow Apartments is a 5-story wood-framed building with two levels of subterranean parking. Amenity spaces include a roof top outdoor terrace with views of the Vista Bridge and downtown, a club room, outdoor sitting area with fireplace and BBQ, exercise facility, and secured bike parking with bike maintenance area. 

The community is comprised of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment homes ranging in size from 555 square feet to 990 square feet. The architectural style of the community draws from the neighborhood’s mid-century buildings and will incorporate refined modern touches both inside and out.
